
After reportedly walking out of rehab, Pete Davidson says he has found peace by taking a step away from the limelight. The 31-year-old comedian who is best known for his prolific eight-season run on “Saturday Night Live”, told W Magazine that he no longer wants to be a celebrity and has officially become a sock designer for the brand Doublesoul.

Davidson explained that his decision to step back from Hollywood was partly motivated by the negative press from his series of high-profile relationships with celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande.
“Luckily, I got hit on the face with the Hollywood shovel,” he told W. He expressed that it was a long time coming and he in fact, needed it. "I’m very happy where I am right now, mentally," he added.

He went on to say that he wants to be known for doing “good work,” in films, standup, charity, or business and hopes to shed his dating reputation. “That’s when I want to be seen. I don’t want to be this f** loser who just dates people. That’s not who I am," he said.
He further explained that early in his career he felt pressured into accepting every opportunity that came his way. However, he feels he has matured and become wiser in his career. Nevertheless, his career has helped him gain immense fame and an impressive fortune as well.
